Every guide on Deckmio is written and maintained by one person, publishing under the pen name pidaixu. This page exists so you can see who is behind the writing, what they actually play, and what they do and do not claim to know.

Why a pen name

The name above is a pen name, not a legal name — saying so plainly is the whole point of this section. It is stable: it stays on the byline as guides are updated, so a page you bookmarked does not change its author. It is not a stand-in for a team, an agency or a set of anonymous writers. One person plays the games, writes the guides, and is responsible for what they say.

What I actually play

The guides here are not written from a general knowledge of games. They are written from playing the versions hosted on this site, plus years of playing card and puzzle games elsewhere:

  • Solitaire variants — Klondike (turn 1 and turn 3), Spider in 1, 2 and 4 suits, FreeCell, Pyramid, Tri-Peaks and Golf, all played regularly enough to know where they punish you.
  • Mahjong solitaire — the classic turtle layout and its relatives, including the tile-pairing rules that trip up beginners.
  • Puzzles — sudoku and nonogram logic, minesweeper deduction patterns, and spatial puzzles such as water sort and block placement.

How the guides get written

  1. Play the game on the site. The setup, controls and edge cases described in a guide are the ones in the version linked from that page.
  2. Answer one real question. Each guide targets a question a player actually asks, and answers it before adding depth.
  3. Explain the reasoning. Strategy is written so it can be applied to a new board, not memorised as a fixed move list.
  4. Review before publishing. Every page is checked against the game and edited by hand before it goes live. Software, including AI-assisted drafting tools, may help prepare an early draft or check structure — it never decides what a guide covers. The full standards are in the Editorial Policy.

What I do not claim

This is not a competitive-play record and not professional gambling advice. The strategy here is practical guidance for the games on this site — where a rule is genuinely ambiguous across traditions, the guide says so instead of picking one version and presenting it as universal. If something is wrong, the contact page goes straight to me, and real mistakes get corrected on the page.
