Play Aces Up Solitaire Online Free

Aces Up throws out the foundations and the tableau entirely. Four piles, one rule: when two exposed cards share a suit, the lower one goes. Clear all forty-eight non-ace cards and you finish with nothing but the four aces staring back at you. A full game takes about three minutes.

How to play Aces Up Solitaire

Four cards are dealt face up, one to each pile. The remaining 48 cards form the stock.
Only the top card of each pile is in play at any time.
If two top cards share a suit, the lower one can be discarded. An Ace is the highest card, so an exposed Ace can safely eliminate every lower card of its suit.
Filling an empty pile: move any top card into a vacant pile to expose the card beneath it.
When nothing can be discarded, deal one new card onto each pile from the stock.
Win by discarding all 48 non-ace cards, leaving only the four aces.

Controls

Tap a top card to pick it up, then tap an empty pile to move it there. Tap the picked-up card again to discard it when a higher card of its suit is showing. Tap the stock to deal a fresh row.

Tips & strategy

Before you discard, look underneath. Every removal exposes the next card in that pile, and the better of two discards is usually the one that uncovers something useful.
Once an Ace is exposed, keep it exposed. It can never be discarded, and it turns every lower card of its suit into a free removal.
An empty pile is your only way to rearrange the board. Use it to move a card that is blocking a better one, not just to park a high card.
High cards are nearly safe — a King can only be removed by its own Ace — so they make good permanent residents of a pile.
Dealing buries whatever is on top. If a discard is available anywhere, take it before you touch the stock.
